Aalborg University has been created through a merger of a number of established institutions combined with the establishment of resp. a Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences and Technical-Natural Sciences in 1974. AAU’s education and research are problem and project-based and focus on interdisciplinary. The quality assurance system at AAU ensures that this is worked on continuously and systematically. The quality assurance system provides information about and determines procedures for the processing of information and requirements for documentation in relation to AAU’s programs.
